You will find that East Woods School continues to enrich our programs in academics and character development, the two foundational keys to our longstanding mission. I am especially proud of our Eighth Grade students who are completing our enhanced, year-long, leadership program. These students worked in close collaboration to conduct an extensive selection process to choose a non-profit organization which they supported throughout the year. This was both strong practical leadership skill development and wonderful philanthropic work. As you will read in the following pages, Eighth Grade students also participated in presentation skill development, etiquette training, and discussed vital leadership traits that they incorporated into their work habits and daily living. Our school continues to be driven by a strong faculty and supported by caring and engaged parents and alumni/ae. I am so grateful to so many of you who have shared so much of your
