Monologue - Twists of L

I've learned to live every day to the fullest To embrace the shimmering moonlight Staying focused against all odds Recognizing that love is the most precious gift we have

I discovered this world like a nomad A heart without a home You never said Goodbye But these tears will dry

This road is the one less travelled A phoenix heading towards the sun Who am I to break this silence I crave for sea, standing at the cliffs Waves splashing off rocks, hitting my skin A different night, a different sin

The twists of love, life, loss and light This maelstrom in which we kneel Thinking of you stranger, puts a smile back on my face Restlessly turning these tables around That´s what freedoms´ glory is all about

In this moment What a relief, though Fearful of the day when you might leave

The wind sweeps through my hair My mind distracted by the breeze Fast as the predator on the plains Playful like the autumn trees Melodies sway along my way Far beyond this bay I have a date with destiny Same new Me Yours forever L

It takes all strength to remain calm when in the middle of a raging storm. But clouds have a heartbeat.

I wish to thank my grandparents for their love, criticism, and faith in me where I went astray on this journey. Sending my regards to a father I´ve never met. Who knows, things could have been different, but I am grateful to have discovered so much more on the “open road”.

Since release of Single Oceanblue followed by debut EP Kiss in 2019, I kept actively working on new music and I am delighted that I can now call this piece my first album including two German songs Schattenträume and Meine Sieben.

Special thanks to Radar Management Group LLC and its great members of music producers. I am grateful for collaboration especially for the powerful instrumental compositions of Mikal Reid, Michael Jay Margules, Krysta Youngs and the possibility to deliver my rendition of Anthony Little´s song “Your Air”.

Cian Synnott and Niall McMonagle at Windmill Lane Recording Studios, Dublin: Recording this year towards strict health- and safety protocols onsite was surely an adventure for All involved and I thank you for making this session with me possible. I appreciate your genuine advice to the moon and back. I will certainly not consider every single record label opinion.

I wish to thank Eva Oppitz for her dedicated work on my cover artworks, it´s always great to brainstorm and discuss new ideas with you!

Despite global pandemic and challenges of different kinds for us, it´s worth to remember what true freedom is about: Enjoying a fresh sea breeze, a laughter, a great cup of tea/coffee in our favourite spot, holding on to memories that last forever.

Twists of L is not only a project for momentum but moreover my passion for Pop/Rock/Alternative music that seeks a like-minded audience.
