Five Outrigger members were among a delegation of 46 rowers representing in the traditional Samoan Fautasi Long Rowboat Race on April 16 in Pago Pago. Also competing were delegations from American and Western Samoa and the Kingdom of Tonga in the Flag Day Regatta. Outrigger's ambassador of aloha Henry Ayau headed the Club delega­ tion, which also included Joan Ka'aua, Mike Clifford, Grady Bintliff and Flash Dubiel. This was the first time that Hawaii has sent a delegation to the regatta, and
