BUSINESS SPRING 2016 CAREER FAIR at ILLINOIS February 3 & 4, 2016

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION CAREFULLY OR FORWARD TO ALL OF THE RECRUITERS THAT WILL BE ATTENDING FOR YOUR COMPANY

The Business Career Fair is open to all University of Illinois students and alumni only. Although it is open to all current undergrads and alums, it is geared toward students with business majors who are seeking full-time positions, internships or co-ops.

CAREER FAIR LOCATION: Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), 201 E. Peabody Dr., Champaign 61820

SCHEDULE: Wednesday, February 3 and Thursday, February 4, 2016 Set-up: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Lunch: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Fair: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Shuttle service: 10:45 am-6:45 pm

REFUND: The deadline to cancel and receive a full refund is Monday, January 25, 2016 by 5:00pm CST. NO REFUND will be processed if the cancellation is made after Monday, January 25, 2016.

AMENITIES: One 6’ table (no tablecloth or skirting), and 2 chairs per table will be provided. Paper tablecloths are available at the Business Career Services info table only upon request. Electricity is available per request during registration. If you have not requested electricity at the time you registered and you do need access, please contact our office immediately to make your request. Business Career Services will not guarantee electrical access after the layout is complete for late requests.

REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING THE FAIR: At each space/table, you may have up to four (4) representatives attend. If you have more than 4 reps, you will need to register for an additional table(s). Please do not bring extra reps on the day of the fair. Congestion could be an issue if you don’t register for the correct number of tables/reps. as the lines in your space will run into spaces next to yours or across from yours. Food and beverages are ordered based on the number of reps registered.

DISPLAYS: Units/items need to be within 8’ in height (from floor, not table) and within the length of the 6’ table. There will be a partition/divider (pipe and drape) behind each table separating you from the one on the other side. Companies are only facing each other across an aisle.

PARKING: Free parking will be available during the fair in the SOUTHEAST CORNER of parking lot E14 (west of the . From Kirby Avenue/Florida Avenue, turn South onto First Street, then turn right into the 3rd entrance - SE Corner of the E14 Lot (see map). *You do not need a parking pass, however, you must park in the designated lot - E14. Business Career Services will NOT be responsible for any tickets or tows received for parking in an incorrect parking lot. (see map at Livebinder http://www.livebinders.com/play/play?id=1874030. SHUTTLE SERVICE: We will shuttle recruiters from the E14 Shuttle Lot to ARC. Look for the Starr Limo shuttle vans picking up in the lot. We will run the shuttles continuously from 10:45am to 6:45pm (the last shuttle will leave ARC at 6:45 pm).

LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS: Boxed lunches will be provided from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Multi-purpose room # 1 with extra seating in Multi-purpose room #2 (adjacent). Bottled water and soda will also be available all day in Multi-purpose Room #1. Food and beverages are ordered based on the number of representatives registered.

WIRELESS INTERNET: Visitors to campus who have eduroam credentials can use the eduroam network to connect to the campus WiFi. Visitors to campus who do not have eduroam credentials can use IllinoisNet_Start to gain temporary WiFi access on campus.

PHOTOCOPIES: Copy services are NOT available at ARC. Please be prepared and bring several copies of your recruiting materials. Over 1500 students attend the Spring career fair EACH day.

SHIPPING MATERIALS TO THE FAIR All shipments to the Business Career Fair must arrive no earlier than Monday, January 25 and no later than Tuesday, February 2, 2016. The items MUST be CLEARLY MARKED and addressed as follows:

Shipping Tips  Your shipping label should clearly indicate your company name and the day you are attending.  All inquiries regarding shipments should be made through your carrier. Business Career Services is NOT responsible for your shipped items and cannot verify delivery.  When shipping multiple pieces, number appropriately, i.e. "America Corp.," 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc.  Do not ship to Business Career Services at the Business Instructional Facility. We do not have the space to receive your materials.  Please use your package tracking number to verify package delivery. The fair location and our office are in separate buildings and we have no way of knowing if your package(s) arrive at the fair location. Packages that are shipped will be at your table when you arrive. If you are bringing materials with you and would like assistance with unloading on the day of the fair, pull up to the ARC entrance on Peabody between 11:00am - 2:00pm. Student volunteers will assist you and then direct you to the parking lot.

RETURN SHIPMENTS AFTER THE FAIR: For return shipments, please pack all items securely and clearly label them with the carrier's shipping bill and your company's account number. Bring all items, labeled and ready to ship, to the Business Career Services Info Center by the entrance of GYM #2. Business Career Services will schedule a FedEx Air pickup each day of the career fair; although, your items will not be shipped out until the following morning. All other carriers must be contacted and pickup arranged on your own.

INTERVIEWS: We are currently accepting reservations for Spring 2016 on-campus recruiting. Please make your request online through I-Link. On the home page, under shortcuts, select "Request On Campus Interview." Through I-Link, you will be able to view the availability for the day(s) you are considering; if the system shows no room availability, you will need to select an alternative date.

STUDENT RSVP OPTION: Students have the option to RSVP to the career fair and they may express specific interest in your company.

To review those students and their resumes: * Log in to your I-Link Account * On the top menu bar, select Events. Under the “Career Fair” tab, select "Review-Confirmed". Select the "Students" tab - This pulls up a table of all of the students that have RSVP'd to the fair - The students with a hand next to their name expressed interest in your company specifically - To narrow the table down to just those students that have shown interest in your company select the "Yes" next to 'Has Interest' at the top of the table, then select "Apply Search" * To review a student's resume, select the booklet icon on the far right hand side of the table in the resume column * To generate a resume book, select the desired students by selecting the box to the left of their name, or select the "+" in the upper left hand corner of the table to choose all of the students in the table, then select "Generate Book" and follow the directions

DRIVING DIRECTIONS From I-57, then to I-74 east • Take the Lincoln Avenue exit (#183) from I-74 • Travel south on Lincoln Avenue to Florida and turn right (west), then turn right on First Street (north), then another right on Peabody Drive to ARC

AIRPORTS: The University of Illinois is serviced by the University of Illinois Willard Airport. For flight information, visit their website: www.flycmi.com . The airport is located approximately 5 miles southwest of the university campus. An airport shuttle to and from campus is available. Other major airports within a 160-mile radius of Champaign-Urbana include Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Chicago Midway (MDW), Bloomington, IL (BMI), and Indianapolis (IND).
