Restricted: Researchers may not use any correspondence or legal documents prepared by Bobby Battle. Stephen Jones Collection Stephen Jones served as General Counsel of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union from 1970-74. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Class of 1966. In 1964, he was personal assistant to Richard M. Nixon in New York City, and from 1966- 1969 he worked in Washington D.C.
