MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING & LICENSING COMMITTEE OF TOWN COUNCIL HELD THROUGH THE ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEM ON MONDAY 21st DECEMBER 2020 AT 7.00 p.m.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7.00pm

1 APOLOGIES Apologies were received, and accepted from Cllr Morgan (Illness), Cllr White (Family Commitment), Cllr Hunter Watts (Prior Commitment).

RESOLVED: To receive and accept the reasons of absence.

The Committee took this opportunity to thank Cllr Moore for his time and commitment to the Planning Committee and the Planning Working Group. The committee wish him a speedy recovery and wish him all the best for the future.

3. MINUTES RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 7th December 2020 be accepted as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

RESOLVED: Aylesbury Town Council is pleased to see the increase in the width of pathways have been addressed. Aylesbury Town Council would ask that for every tree that is felled it is replaced by more than double.

RESOLVED: Aylesbury Town Council agree with both Weston Turville Parish Council and Kingsbrook Parish Council that it is imperative to complete the road first to mitigate the impact on increased traffic on the surrounding villages and current residents. Aylesbury Town Council would welcome consultation for design of the development and landscaping to ensure a future proof, sustainable development. Aylesbury Town Council are pleased and encouraged that the developers have worked closely with the Canal Trust and hope that this may continue to deliver further work along the canal.

RESOLVED: Aylesbury Town Council maintain their objection and await Highways final comment once they have received the LINSIG data. Aylesbury Town Council support comment by Park & Recreation that the Leap is unacceptable. Aylesbury Town Council ask that for every tree that is felled more than double will be planted in its place.
