During a Level 3 Water Warning, beginning in the billing cycle, customers are provided with an allocation of water and penalties will be assessed for water use, per billing unit, above the allocation as shown below:

A customer apply for a one-time forgiveness of excess use penalties. In order to be considered for such forgiveness, the customer is required to sign up with the City, no later than the close of business day, before the water bill due date for a weekend or evening course. The course will cover the basics of meter reading, leak detection, water resources, and other topics relevant to the drought and current water restrictions in place. Upon acceptance by the City, the customer will be required to attend said course in order to receive the one-time forgiveness.
