X-O is by far my most favorite Valiant title in its relaunch of the 's series. As a young boy, Aric witnessed the slaughter of his parents at the hands of Roman soldiers. The only way I was able to wrap my head around what was going on I didn't read Unity was by the little 'previously' blurb they attached at the beginning of each issue.
