Write-Up Two Days Conference on 3Rd & 4Th September, 2016 at Vadodara the Vadodara & Surat Chapter of WIRC of ICSI Joint Write-up Two Days Conference on 3rd & 4th September, 2016 at Vadodara The Vadodara & Surat Chapter of WIRC of ICSI jointly organized a Two Days Conference on the theme of “New Avenues – Deep Insides” on 3rd & 4th September, 2016 at Hotel Express Towers, Vadodara. Saturday, 3rd September, 2016 During the Inaugural session of the Conference Shri Amit Bhatnagar, Managing Director, Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd., Vadodara; Shri Bharat Dangar, Mayor, Vadodara; CS Ashish Doshi, Council Member – ICSI; CS Kamlesh Joshi, Chairman, ICSI – WIRC; CS Swati Bhatt, Secretary, ICSI-WIRC; CS Hemant Nandaniya, Vice- Chairman, ICSI-Vadodara; CS A. G. Shaikh, Chairman, ICSI-Surat, and; CA Ashish Goyal, Business Head- Gujarat, NSE India Ltd., Ahmedabad;; marked their presence on the dias. CS Hemant Nandaniya, welcomed the dignitaries and participants in the Conference. Shri Amit Bhatnagar addressed the gathering as Chief Guest and Shri Bharat Dangar addressed as Guest of Honor. CS Ashish Doshi, CS Kamlesh Joshi, CS Swati Bhatt and CS A. G. Shaikh also spread their words of wisdom. Lastly CS Susheela Maheshwari, Treasurer, ICSI-Vadodara, proposed a Vote of Thanks for the session. One hundred five (105) CS Members, Students and Corporate Delegates attended the Conference and participated actively. First Technical Session: The speaker was CS Keyoor Bakshi, Former President, ICSI. He discussed on the topic related to “National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)” during the Session. CS Monika Ahir, Introduced the Speaker. CS Devesh Pathak, Chaired the Session and also proposed a Vote of Thanks. Second Technical Session: The speaker was CS Smitesh Desai, Practicing Company Secretary, Valsad. He discussed on the topic “Goods and Services Tax (GST)”. Ms. Tejal Pithava, Introduced the Speaker. CS D. S. Mahajani, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Third Technical Session: The last Session of first day of Conference was on the topic “SME Listing”. CA Ashish Goyal, Business Head – Gujarat, NSE Indian Ltd., Ahmedabad was the speaker of the Session. CS Jaya Bharadwaj, Introduced the Speaker. CS A. G. Shaikh, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Sunday, 4th September, 2016 Fourth Technical Session: CS Ashish Garg, Central Council Member – ICSI was the speaker of the Session. He deliberated participants on the topic relating to “MGT – 7”. CS Susheela Maheshwari, Introduced the Speaker. CS Chetan Patel, Regional Council Member, ICSI – WIRC, was also on the dias and spread their wisdom of words before the session. CS J. J. Gandhi, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Fifth Technical Session: The speaker was CS S. Sudhakar, Vice-President (Corporate Secretarial), Reliance Industries Limited, Navi Mumbai. He discussed on the topic related to “The Company Act, 2013”. CS Monika Ahir, Introduced the Speaker. CS Susheela Maheshwari, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Sixth Technical Session: The speaker was CS Kamlesh Vyas, Company Secretary, Garden Silk Mills Ltd., Surat. He took session on the topic related to Soft Skills. Ms. Tejal Pithava, Introduced the Speaker. CS Kuldeep Nagar, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Seventh Technical Session: The speaker of last session was Shri Avadhoot Sumant, Advocate & Team Head, The SatyaVidhi & Company, Vadodara. He enlightened the participants on “Insolvency & Bankruptcy” CS Meghna Patel, Introduced the Speaker. CS Himanshu Parmar, Chaired the Session and proposed a Vote of Thanks. Lastly, CS Susheela Maheshwari, Treasurer, Vadodara Chapter, delivered the concluding remarks of the entire programme. .

    NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS Dear Member(s), Sub. : Transfer of Equity Shares of the Company to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Suspense Account As you are aware, dividend declared by the Company is remitted either electronically or by sending dividend warrants to the registered address of the eligible shareholders. As per Section 124(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, all unpaid or unclaimed dividends for a period of seven years are required to be transferred by the Company to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) established by the Central Government. We regularly upload on our website as also on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, full details of such unpaid or unclaimed dividends before transferring to IEPF. Further, Section 124(6) requires that all shares in respect of which unpaid or unclaimed dividend has been transferred to IEPF, shall also be transferred to IEPF. Ministry of Corporate Affairs has recently notified “Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 [Rules] which have come into force from September 7, 2016. The said Rules, amongst other matters, contain provisions for transfer of all shares in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed for seven consecutive years or more, in the name of IEPF Suspense Account. As per the records, you have not en-cashed your dividends for seven continuous years and accordingly, in terms of the above Rules, your shares are liable to be transferred to IEPF.
