What to Bring - Required:  HEALTH FORMS. A health form is included in this that must be filled out and turned in at registration. Also campers coming without partners - please bring insurance cards, and anything else that will help us help you in an emergency.  This packet.  Sleeping gear - Pillows, sleeping or sheets and blankets. Beds with mattresses will be provided for those staying in cabins.  Clothing - Be prepared for a cornucopia of weather from heat to cold to rain and snow (this is Minnesota after all!). Swimsuits, sweaters or jackets, rain gear, coats, shorts, long pants, and lightweight cover-ups for sunburn and mosquito protection.  Toiletries, bug repellent, sunscreen, towels for showers and swimming.  Flashlights - Maybe one more flashlight than the number of members of your family.  Extra washcloth or cloth napkin and clothespin for each camper. We do not have napkins.  Hat, Closed tow shoes (required to work in the kitchen)  Mask(s) to wear indoors  Hand Sanitizer What to Bring - Optional:  Personal items - Camera, binoculars, field guides, compass, notebook and pen for journal writing.  Medications/supplements/over the counter meds  Pre-washed white or light colored pieces of cotton clothing if you would like to tie-dye.  Musical instruments and songbooks for singalongs.  Remember to plan for the People Camp Talent Show! Bring your musical instruments, skits, stand-up comedy, dance routines, costumes, etc.  Supplies, videos, handouts, or ideas you'd like to share if you'd like to do an interest group.  Games and sports equipment! Softball, basketball and volleyball courts are available. Bring softball mitts, Frisbees, footballs, soccer balls, etc.  Rainy Day Activities - Bring board games and ideas for indoor amusements (charades, etc.). We encourage creative, interactive activities and discourage video viewing.  Vegetables! - Please bring your fresh produce. (It might go to seed while you’re gone, anyway!) Donations of fresh produce and home preserves will help cut costs and add variety to our meals. If you’re bringing lots, please contact Maria at 507-581-6647 or email [email protected].  Kitchen supplies needed: empty bread bags, flour sack towels, to take home .  Coffee mug or water if you will want one with you throughout the day, camp cups and mugs need to stay in the dining hall.  Craft materials if you want to share your ideas with others or to make items to donate to the FNVW craft sale.

What NOT to bring: Videos not in keeping with FNVW values are discouraged. Videos with mature themes must be approved by the camp directors before being shown in public areas accessible to children. The use of illegal drugs and the consumption of alcohol is prohibited at camp. Smoking is permitted only outside of buildings and a fair distance from those who do not smoke. All smokers are responsible for helping keep Camp butt-free.
