The high yielding pedigree Holstein dairy herd currently comprises 960 cows which are milked 3 times a day with a 379 day index, calving all year-round, with an impressive pregnancy rate of 30%. The herd have a rolling average yield of approximately 11,100 litres based on 305 day average and 12 month average milk sales showing butterfat levels of 3.97% and protein levels of 3.20%.
