The Festival will be held from Saturday 25th June to Saturday 2nd July inclusive. VOCES8 is one of the most exciting and versatile vocal groups Avi Avital is an Israeli mandolinist, composer, and performer in the world. Featuring music by composers such as Gershwin, Joplin, Bernstein, Chaplin, Dankworth, Piazzolla, Goodman. Tine Thing Helseth, 26, is a Norwegian trumpet soloist specializing in classical repertoire. Tine, who started to play the trumpet at the age of 7, is one of today's leading trumpet soloists and for her Bradfield recital is joined by her regular accompanist Kathryn Sto. In 2011 Tine was named a "Superstar of Tomorrow" by BBC Music Magazine. The same year she signed a contract with EMI Classics and in March 2013 released a CD aptly titled "Tine". Julian Lloyd Webber, the Festival's President, makes a welcome return to Bradfield, one of his favourite venues! This will be a brilliant evening of stories and music as Julian takes you through a historical and musical journey of his life and career. He is joined by his wife and fellow cellist Jiaxin Lloyd Webber and an accompanist (yet to be disclosed) to perform works by Andrew Lloyd Webber, William Lloyd Webber, Rachmaninov, Fauré, Bach and many others. Phillip Dyson is an international pianist and great entertainer, performing to 'sell-out' audiences around the world. Phillip is recognised as one of Britain's most sought aer and innovative concert pianists, gaining enormous popularity for his unique abilities in both the classical and light music repertoire. Some rough ground and stiles. Can be muddy in places. • Start - Smithy Moor Lane / Unsliven Road, Stocksbridge S36 1FN • Grid Reference - SK 253 990 • Maps – OL1 Dark Peak, OS Explorer 278 • Parking - on Smithy Moor Lane / Unsliven Road, Stocksbridge • Public transport - 57 (from Sheffield) bus to Unsliven Road. SL1/1a (from Middlewood) buses to Unsliven Road. • Refreshments – Underbank Outdoor Activity Centre – Café ‘Ye Olde Mustard Pot’ at Midhopestones, ‘Bank View Café’ and the ‘Waggon and Horses Inn’ at Langsett. • Public Toilets – Langsett Barn car park • Mobile Phone Coverage - mostly good. Intermittent signals can be received on higher ground Description This walk takes you past three reservoirs, taking in farmland, woodland and a disused railway line. It starts by following Underbank reservoir before a climb up to Midhope. Excellent views across the valley are afforded before the route drops down to the River Porter and then up to Langsett. We return to Underbank along the line of the railway that was originally built to supply materials during the construction of Langsett Reservoir between 1889 and 1905.
