- The applicant has done his post graduation and research studies in Environmental Biology. He was Junior Project/technical Fellow at School of Environmental Biology, APS University, Rewa by M. P. Council of Science & Technology (MAPCOST), Bhopal during his Ph. D. research.

- Applicant did his Post-doctoral studies as Research Associate ( more than six years from 1996 - 2002) in Environmental Sciences at CSIR - National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow and published a number of significant research papers/articles in different national/international journals with impact factor in the areas of biomonitoring, pollution abatement, phytoremediation, biodiversity, etc. He is also the author/editor of Three Books.

- He has also served as Lecturer at V.B.S. Purvanchal University (2002-2003) in Department of Environmental Sciences (M. Sc.).

- Presently he is working as Lecturer at Bundelkhand University w.e.f. 03 – 09 – 2003, Jhansi and teaching in M. Sc. & M. Phil. in (Environmental Sciences) ; MBA (Environmental Management); UG courses (Environmental Studies); as well as taught M. Tech. (Natural Resource Management w.e.f. 2003 - 2009) and was also the Head (from September01, 2006 to April 17, 2008) of the Institute of Environment & Development Studies and was Convener of RDC and Board of Studies of Environmental Sciences, Bundelkhand University. - Appointed as examiner of B. Sc., M. Sc., M. Phil., M. Tech. and Ph. D. from Bundelkhand University as well as other universities (APS University, Nagpur University, Meerut University, IGNT University, ITM University, and UPTU) also appointed Center Representative UP-CPMT (2011); Observer UP- B.Ed. Entrance Test (2011); Center representative UP-B.Ed. Entrance Test (2014).

- The applicant has long standing experience and expertise in eco-education campaign as he has taken active part in a large number of eco-educational and environmental awareness programmes organized by Regional Environment Action Centered Task (REACT), an awareness Project of the Department of Environment, Govt. of India (1992 - 95), and International Society of Environmental Botanists, Lucknow. Such programmes are primarily meant to educate masses at the grass root levels of the society. He is also the one of the Member of UGC – Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyan , BU, Jhansi nominated by Vice-Chancellor.

- The applicant attended various national and international scientific meetings and delivered lectures in Bengali, Hindi and English. He also participated in different symposia/conferences as a member of organizing committee, as organizing secretary, convener and rapporteur/chaired different technical scientific sessions.

- The applicant has long experience in scientific writing and editorial work. He worked as Sectional Editor of Journal of Experimental Sciences and was one of the Editors of Environews; Assisstant Editor of Journal of Environmental Biology; Associate Editor of Journal of Ecobalance and also the Reviewer of different national /international journals.
