Kyoto City Subway Keihan Railway (One-day subway pass) (Kyoto Sightseeing Pass) ■Notes regarding vouchers ・Vouchers cannot be reissued for any reason even if lost. ・Exchange cannot be carried out outside of the validity period of the Kansai Area Pass for any reason. ・Exchange is only permitted when the Kansai Area Pass and voucher are presented together. ・Vouchers will be collected at the counter at the exchange point. They cannot be retained by the customer. ・The Kyoto City Subway and Keihan Railway cannot be used without redeeming the voucher for a one-day pass. ◎ Changes ・The validity period will not be extended due to non-availability of service, delays, or similar issues. ・Changing to non-eligible one-day passes is not permitted. ・The day of use cannot be altered. ◎ Refunds ・The equivalent value of the voucher will not be refunded even if it has not been used. ・The equivalent value of the one-day pass will not be refunded even if it has not been used after redeeming the voucher. This applies even in cases of non-availability of service, delays, or similar issues..

The Kansai Area Pass is very highly rated by overseas visitors, and now Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau, Keihan Electric Railway Co., Ltd. and West Japan Railway Company have made it even more attractive by including one day of unlimited travel for both Kyoto City Subway and Keihan Railway.     November 18, 2020 To make traveling easier for future overseas visitors West Japan Railway Company (JR West) is taking both hard and soft measures to make traveling easier for future overseas visitors, in addition to further expanding the warm hospitality we provide. While the ongoing border closure means that overseas tourists are still unable to visit Japan, the whole of the JR West Group has been working together on thorough measures to sanitize trains and stations and stop the spread of COVID-19*. We are looking ahead to the day we are able to welcome tourists to Japan once again and relax the restrictions on public transport and rolling out a variety of improvements to make future visitors’ journey easier, including expanding the accommodations we provide and redesigning our products for visitors in Japan. 1.
