ALL ANGLERS PLEASE NOTE

• Wherever possible there is car parking behind your peg or short walks. It is advised to also have a trolley/barrow as on some sections you may have to walk up to 25 pegs. • A number of sections are also adjacent to fields were crops are growing or have recently been harvested. Please be very mindful of the dry conditions and be especially careful not to discard cigarette ends that my result in fires. • The river is running a low levels as I write this and our host associations ask that you fully respect the fish caught at all times. New rules are to be operated with regard to the use of extra keep-nets to ensure that particularly vulnerable species such as barbel and chub can be weighed and returned to the river as quickly as possible. • There is the possibility of pleasure anglers on the opposite bank on a number of sections. This is due to those waters being operated by other local by other angling associations. This is outside of the match organisers control. • There is a late change to the pegging at ‘A’ Section. Given the low water levels and excessive weed growth it is considered that a number of the pegs allocated for this section are presently unfishable. The section has therefore been split with pegs A1 – A36 at Clifton bridge and A37 - A47 at Wilford Rugby field. This late change is regrettable but has been taken to provide a fair opportunity for all competitors/teams. • At the top end of F section (pegs (1-3) and the bottom of J section (45-47) at the time of going to print, there may be competitors on opposite banks. We are seeking to resolve this prior to match day.
