It sounds amazing. Reply Notify me Helpful. This thing sounds absolutely perfect. I would change nothing about it. Already loved it on CD, but I absolutely adore it on vinyl. The highs aren't harsh at all, nice mids that aren't muddy at all, and the low end is very present, but not overblown. You hear every instrument. It's just such a kickass record and a pleasure to listen to. If you're on the fence, get off it and get this as soon as you can. This is one of those albums that was made for vinyl. Musically strong and productional superior. More detail and depth than the CD. The only downside is having to change to 45rpm and then having to flip it sooner than usual I can live with that for better sound :. I agree with everyone's comments. I know it was recorded old-school and it translates on Vinyl. This album sounds like the best of old and new technology. Honestly, it is albums like this that have convinced me to change the way I do my own recordings. It is so clear that this is a superior Foo Fighters: Wasting Light. This was recorded on Analog Tape, so it obviously sounds beautiful on vinyl. This is the most underrated Foo's album imo. That's not a knock, they've just honed their craft very well and the magic was right on this one. Everyone should buy this because it rocks and sounds great and is dirt cheap.
