John Lennon – Steel and Glass - Walls And Bridges ‘74 Much like “How Do You Sleep” three years earlier, this is another blistering Lennon track that sets its sights on Allen Klein (who had contributed lyrics to “How Do You Sleep” those few years before). The Beatles - Revolution 1 - The Beatles 2 The first song recorded during the sessions for the “White Album.” At the time of its recording, this slower version was the only version of John Lennon’s “Revolution,” and it carried that titled without a “1” or a “9” in the title. Recording began on May 30, 1968, and 18 takes were recorded. On the final take, the first with a lead vocal, the song continued past the 4 1/2 minute mark and went onto an extended jam. It would end at 10:17 with John shouting to the others and to the control room “OK, I’ve had enough!” The final six minutes were pure chaos with discordant instrumental jamming, plenty of feedback, percussive clicks (which are heard in the song’s introduction as well), and John repeatedly screaming “alright” and moaning along with his girlfriend, Yoko Ono. Ono also spoke random streams of consciousness on the track such as “if you become naked.” This bizarre six-minute section was clipped off the version of what would become “Revolution 1” to form the basis of “Revolution 9.” Yoko’s “naked” line appears in the released version of “Revolution 9” at 7:53. -

First composed during the “Let It Be” sessions, it was recorded on June 2nd, 1970. Some considered this to be a parody of “Hey Jude,” with it’s length and similar sounding backing chorus – but the song is anything but a parody – but another piece of firm evidence of George’s power as a master songwriter. 9.10 BREAK 2 3 The Beatles - Blue Jay Way - Magical Mystery Tour (EP) (Harrison) Lead vocal: George Written by George Harrison on August 1, 1967 while vacationing in a rented house in the Hollywood Hills above Los Angeles. The story is essentially the same as the lyrics imply. On a foggy night in L.A., George sat at his rented house waiting for friends to arrive, but the maze of thin and winding streets and the thick fog rolling in got the best of them and they became lost. George: “I’d rented a house in Los Angeles on – Blue Jay Way, and I’d arrived there from England. I was waiting around for Derek and Joan Taylor who were then living in L.A. I was very tired after the flight and the time change and I stared writing, playing a little electric organ that was in the house. It had gotten foggy and they couldn’t find the house for some time. -

This is an undisputed fact no matter the location. They were so popular that in America, they had to stop touring due to the screaming fans which caused the band not to be able to hear themselves. Never before was there a group that was so incredibly popular in history. This popularity and other fac- tors led the members of the Beatles to change as individuals and as a group as they matured musically and mentally. Their identity shifted from a group identity to a self-identity. When he was 8 years old, he heard Love Me Do at a party and his life changed forever! He fell in love with The Beatles and knew that music would be his life. For years, he bought and assembled a collection of Beatles instruments with the idea of one day forming a tribute band. In 2016 he met Bruno (drummer) through a friend and invited him to join the band. Then Bruno invited three other friends who played with him in another band (Martin, Bruno and Agustin). When the band finally formed in 2016, they began to perform in different stages and bars in Montevideo. At the end of 2016 they competed in the Beatle Week battle of the bands at The Cavern in Buenos Aires, reaching the final, and in 2017 they decided to take the leap and present a show in one of the great theaters of Montevideo in which they recreated chronologically the music of The Beatles.
