5.The rate including carries should be quoted in figures as well as in words. The tender/quotation with correction, over writing or manipulation is liable to be rejected. All correction should be attested under the dated initials of the tenderers. 6.All the specification of the contractual work/materials and the mode of measurement will be a printed specification on of the work of P.W.D.(Building)/P.W.D.(R), Govt. of which has been followed for preparing the estimate. 7.No claim would be entertained for any increase of railway freight and market price 8.If the rate offered for by the successful tenderer is seriously unbalanced in relation to the estimated cost of the work, the tenderer may require to produce details price analysis for any or all the items of the schedule attached. 9.Tenderers shall be bound to execute any excess and extra works as may be ordered by the Executive Officer, Thakurpukur Maheshtala Panchayet Samity, 10.Payment for work done will be inclusive of all royalties, Sale Tax/VAT and other incidental charges upto the work site. Sale Tax @3%, Income Tax @1% and cess for construction worker’s welfare @ 1% will be deducted from the bill or as per Govt. Norms. Sale Tax @ 4% will be deducted from bill where VAT will not be produced by the Agency/Contractor. 11. Payment will be made as per availability of fund. Security Money 10% will be deducted from each of Bill amount for the Contractual works. 12.The undersigned reserves the right to accept and to reject any or all applications/quotation without assigning any reason thereof acceptance of any tender subject to the approval of appropriate authority. 13.Strong disciplinary action will be initiated as per decision of the P.S./undersigned in case of failure of the Agency/Contractor to complete the awarded work within the stipulated time without any further intimation to the Agency/Contractor. 14.All tools and plants and implements required for the construction of work, will have to be supplied by the tenderers at his/their own cost. 15.. Photograph (size 3”x4”) of prework, during & postwork to be submitted after completion of work. 16.Successful tenderer should start work within 7 days after receiving work order. 17.If the agency fails to start the work due to own negligence work order will be cancelled after a 7 days reminder henceforth penal action will be taken against him and work order will be issued to the second lowest tenderer.
