Kata Pengantar Dengan menyebut Nama Tuhan Yang Maha Benar penulis bersyukur, karena hanya berkat perkenan-Nya buku ini dapat hadir ke tengah-tengah para pembaca yang budiman. Buku ini sengaja penulis beri judul „Jendela Epistemologi‟ karena memang hanya menyajikan sekilas pengetahuan yang tentu saja tidak adequate untuk dijadikan pegangan bagi siapa saja yang ingin mengerti perihal pengetahuan. Semoga pembaca yang budiman berkenan membaca sumber asli sebagaimana yang penulis sebut dalam footnote ataupun di dalam daftar pustaka. Meskipun buku ini hanyalah „sebuah jendela‟ yang tentu tidak pernah seluas sebuah gerbang namun demikian sekurang-kurang penulis berharap semoga buku ini bermanfaat adanya. Sebagai tambahan bahan berpikir kritis dan refleksi, dua bagian terakhir dari buku ini yaitu bagian keempat dan kelima yang sudah pernah dipublikasikan beberapa waktu lalu oleh STAIN Jember Press dan Jurnal Al-Tahrir STAIN Ponorogo, sengaja ditampilkan lagi. Penulis menyampaikan terima kasih yang tulus kepada yang terhormat Bapak Prof. Dr. H. Babun Suharto, SE, MM., selaku Ketua STAIN Jember yang telah berkenan memberi arena yang mencukupi bagi aktualisasi diri saya melalui penerbitan buku ini.
