n The Seminoles rank fifth in the country in all-time GameDay appearances (34) and sixth in number of times hosted (11). n College GameDay’s first on-campus appearance was for the Florida State-Notre Dame “Game of the Century” in 1993, and six weeks later the Seminoles would validate that attention by earning their first national championship with a victory over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl. n When College GameDay visits Tallahassee, the Seminoles are 7-4 with wins over Notre Dame, Clemson (2), Miami (2) and Florida (2). n ESPN’s production takes place on the newly renovated Langford Green, allowing fans to tailgate and enjoy each other’s company in preparation for the big game.

6 6 n College GameDay analyst Lee Corso is a Florida State alum and one of the top athletes in FSU history. n Corso joined the College GameDay show at its launch in 1987 and became renowned for his headgear selections at the end of each show. n Corso was a quarterback and cornerback for the Seminoles in the mid- 1950s before launching a coaching career that lasted nearly 30 years. n Nicknamed “The Sunshine Scooter” for his speed on the football field, Corso also played baseball for the Seminoles and was a college roommate of teammate and future movie star Burt Reynolds. n Corso is the only remaining member of the original College GameDay crew and now works with Rece Davis and analysts Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. Corso is famous for his catchphrase, “Not so fast, my friend!”

n Florida State is routinely one of the most attractive draws for television partners and viewers. n Florida State’s 2017 season opener vs. Alabama in Atlanta’s brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium was the most-watched college football kickoff weekend matchup ever with more than 12,000,000 viewers. It was the most-watched non-conference regular season game of 2017 and the highest-rated game all season on ABC. n The 2018 season opener, a primetime Labor Day broadcast on ESPN, was the sixth-highest viewing audience for a college football game during the entire season across all networks.

7 7 When the Seminoles opened up the 2016 season, fans were greeted with the tallest video board structure in college football, broadcasting in 1080p true high-definition. The upgraded board is three times larger and twice as high as the old one. The new board stands 63 feet high and is accompanied by new high definition ribbon boards throughout the stadium as well. Overall, 9,908 square feet of LED displays were added to , and there is over 1,000 linear feet of HD LED throughout. Most impressively, every camera transmitting to the video board will be shooting the action in high-definition, giving fans one of the highest-quality pictures in the world.

8 8 n In a special ceremony prior to the Florida game on November 20, 2004, the field at Doak Campbell Stadium was dedicated to former head coach Bobby Bowden. n Bowden won his 200th career game on the field in 1990. Bowden’s 300th win at Florida State came against Maryland in 2007 on the field that bears his name.

n Beginning in 2016, Florida State has hosted the Doak After Dark concert series, featuring some of the top names in music playing on the same field as the FSU football team. n Country artists Old Dominion and Tyler Farr kicked off the series in 2016. Blake Shelton and Florida State alum Jake Owen performed in the spring of 2017, and Cole Swindell played Doak after the Delaware State game in November 2017. The 2018 season featured a concert from OutKast’s Big Boi and Tallahassee native T-Pain following the Wake Forest game. n In collaboration with an overall “throwback” theme around head coach ’s first Garnet & Gold Spring Game, 1990’s music staples Rob Base, Salt-N-Pepa and Vanilla Ice closed down Doak Campbell Stadium with a performance in front of more than 60,000 fans. The 2019 spring game included another throwback concert featuring MC Hammer, Tone Loc and Color Me Badd. n In addition to the Doak After Dark series, Florida State hosts a Friday Night Block Party in CollegeTown just south of the stadium before every home game. Among the acts that have performed during the Block Party over the years include Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Sam Hunt, Blake Eldredge and Corey Smith, among many others.

9 9 Head coach Willie Taggart prioritizes professional development with the Florida State football team, as it is his goal to not only have student-athletes graduate but to leave FSU with a job. The Seminoles are able to take advantage of many development opportunities, including professional internships, leadership retreats and community service outreach.

1010 The Musial Awards recognized ’s inspiring friendship with Bo Paske, a Tallahassee middle schooler with autism that he befriended during a visit to Montford Middle School in August of 2016. Rudolph saw Paske eating by himself, was photographed and the image soon went viral, thanks to Bo’s mother, Leah. When the outpouring of support for the duo went national, Rudolph presented Bo and Leah with a personalized jersey and tickets to the season opener against Ole Miss in Orlando. Both Leah and Bo were on hand when Travis was picked up by the as an undrafted free agent. He was one of 11 award winners for Extraordinary Sportsmanship. The Musial 2015 Awards are presented by Maryville University and produced by the St. Louis Sports Warrick Dunn 2004 Commission and National Sportsmanship Derrick Brooks 2000 Foundation in honor of longtime Cardinals baseball player Stan Musial.

Linebacker DeCalon Brooks led the team with more than 60 hours of community service during the 2018-19 school year and was named an ACC Top Six for Service recipient. Brooks worked with many organizations, including American Red Cross, Kickin’ it for Autism and Big Bend Hospice while also serving as the football team’s liaison for student services.
