PIDGEONs of Adlestrop (Gloucs) & Kingham (Oxon) John Pidgi n married Elizabeth Huckin at Kingham, Oxfordshire in 1752. John died in January 1811 aged 78, so was born about 1732. Possibly, he came from Sutton-under-Brailes, Warwickshire, about 10 miles north of Kingham, where John Pidgeon was baptised in March 1731 /2 (see the PIDGEONs of Sutton-under-Brailes family tree). Some of their descendants stayed in Kingham, while others moved over the county border to nearby Adlestrop, Gloucestershire. Later generations migrated to nearby Blockley, Gloucs, to Merton, Oxon, to the Isle of Wight, to Accrington, Lancs and to Hampshire.
