PIDGEONs of Adlestrop (Gloucs) & Kingham (Oxon) John Pidgi n married Elizabeth Huckin at Kingham, Oxfordshire in 1752. John died in January 1811 aged 78, so was born about 1732. Possibly, he came from Sutton-under-Brailes, Warwickshire, about 10 miles north of Kingham, where John Pidgeon was baptised in March 1731 /2 (see the PIDGEONs of Sutton-under-Brailes family tree). Some of their descendants stayed in Kingham, while others moved over the county border to nearby Adlestrop, Gloucestershire. Later generations migrated to nearby Blockley, Gloucs, to , Oxon, to the Isle of Wight, to Accrington, Lancs and to Hampshire.
