As secularist government o cials and Church leaders try to force the children to recant their story, word of the sighting spreads across the country, inspiring religious pilgrims to flock to the site in hopes of witnessing a miracle. Ms. MaryAnn Garfold, Director of Religious Education 412-922-6388 [email protected]

A NOTE FROM MARYANN: A blessed October to each of you. In today’s First Reading, St. Paul writes, “We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope.” This is something to recall as we enter these days of living with COVID-19. We give thanks to God for all the workers who help us do the ordinary things of everyday. But most of all, we give thanks for each other. We give thanks to the people of St. Philip Parish as we keep each other in prayer and as we perform service for one another. We give thanks for our Pastor and our Parochial Vicar who sacrifice that we may celebrate the sacraments together. Let us continue our works of faith and acts of charity that through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we may have the courage to trust in God for all our needs.
