Volunteers work as ushers to ensure a positive patron experience at events and help to spread the word about upcoming events by postering across the community. Our volunteer corps includes IU students from all disciplines as well as dedicated community members. Our ushers undergo mandatory training to ensure they are prepared to provide a variety of services from helping patrons find their seats to evacuating the building in case of emergency. In 2014, we began providing more advanced training for current volunteers, including a session on emergency procedures.
