Welcome to the 1,000th Edition of the CIS Northern Ireland Report CIS Managing Director, Tom Moloney The Northern Ireland Report was first published by Commercial Information in 1977 as a monthly publication and we are proud to bring you the 1,000th edition in its 38th year as Northern Ireland’s leading Construction Sales and Project Leads provider. In the early days, it was known as the ‘Ulster Building’ Report and was published on a monthly basis before becoming fortnightly and then weekly. The company, with an office in Belfast, had a small research team with one sales person. One of the first researchers to be employed was a young qualified journalist by the name of Eamon Holmes. Eamon, of course, has gone on to become one of the UK’s top News, Current Affairs and Chat Show personalities, working today with both Sky News and ITV. In the early eighties the Ulster Building Report was sold to a separate entity and the report became known as the ‘Building Report’. The company subsequently changed its name to ‘Unearth Ore’ in 2009, before merging with Construction Information Services Ltd (CIS) - the original publishers, in 2012. CIS now has offices in Banbridge, Co. Down and in Sandyford, Dublin. In 2008, CIS took the decision to move our service online and its interactive benefits became almost an overnight success. CIS Online allows our customers to manipulate the information specifically to their requirements and has a built in CRM System that allows them to manage and monitor their company’s sales function. The company continues to produce hardcopy reports for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. In addition, we’ve had a close association with Barbour ABI since 2002 who are based in both London and Manchester, providing Construction leads for England, Scotland and Wales. If you have any queries regarding our range of products or regarding a specific project(s) of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact Clare or Pat on 028 4064 8399. Thank you for your custom which is very much appreciated and we look forward to hearing from you. Tom Moloney Directors: P.McSwiney, T.Moloney.
