Engineering is the interdisciplinary study of math, science, and business principles. The courses teach students how to identify and solve problems, design and conduct experiments, and to understand professional and ethical responsibility. This major teaches students how to make systems work better, meet the needs of businesses, and design and develop new products for public use.
