Terry Walling is President of Resource Ministries, a church revitalization agency dedicated to the life and health of the church. Terry Walling pointed out that God's Church is His avenue for bringing light to the world. Renewal of God's Church for a greater harvest is the passion of our Lord. Mark 2:1-12 tells the story of the "hole in the roof." The religious often keep people who need Jesus from Him. The four men had to dig a hole large enough to lower a man through. Jesus takes the acts of ordinary people and changes people for all eternity. The paralytic was healed! Only God can do this. The important thing was that they got him to Jesus, so Jesus could do His work. Terry Walling concluded with three challenges from the four stretcher-bearers: 1. Be more focused-focus our lives for a greater harvest. If you knew you would not fail, what would you be willing to do for God? 2. Be consumed with the passion of Christ, or we will turn into people of reli gion. 3. Live courageously. The church needs men and women of passion. 8. Closing Allan Labun concluded the meeting with prayer at 8:45 pm. 84tf1 Coovenhon of tf1e Canadian Conference of Mennonite Bre1ltren Churches 7 SESSION #2 "Check the Flight Plan" FRIDAY MORNING, JULY 10 - 8:30 A.M. 1.
