In game one, Luke Vanderwilp, Pat Saunders and Chris Haynes net- ted two goals each, with Kody Lyons, Riley McGilloway and Russell Peacock adding single mark- ers. Against Spartan, the Bulldogs were outscored 4-0 in the final peri- od after Haynes and Justin Reid both had put together three-point efforts. Midget goaltender Ryan Kelly was sharp in the victory over Welland, backed by Matt Laidlaw’s hat trick. Lyons (2), Kyle Davis (2), Mike Brown and Haynes rounded out the scoring.
