The park’s nam e com es from the Spanish word for “M ead ow s.” Visitors enjoy the vibrant montane meadows of wildflow ers, aspen-covered hillsides, deer, foxes, bluebirds and more. At 8000 feet in elevation, Vega Reservoir and its meadows are rich in history and natural beauty.
