DISNEY'S "ZOMBIES 2" Multitalented actors Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprise their roles as Zed and Addison in the Disney Channel Original Movie "ZOMBIES 2," the highly anticipated sequel to "ZOMBIES." "ZOMBIES" was the #1 cable telecast among Kids and Girls 6-11 and Tweens and Girls 9-14 for 2018 and was Disney Channel's #1 video-on-demand property and the #1 title in the DisneyNOW app for 2018. The movie soundtrack debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Children's chart, #4 on the Billboard Top Soundtrack chart, #2 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart and #3 on the iTunes album chart. Featuring electrifying dance numbers and bold new original songs, "ZOMBIES 2" picks up a few months after the original in the town of Seabrook, where the newly united communities of humans and zombies are reveling in their new-found peace. Addison is finishing up an exciting and competitive session at cheer camp and Zed is preoccupied with his plan to ask her to Prawn, Seabrook High's mighty shrimp-themed prom. However, when a new group of mysterious teenage werewolves unexpectedly arrive in search of an ancient life source buried somewhere in Seabrook, a fearful city council immediately reenacts Seabrook's anti-monster laws, making it impossible for Zed and Addison to attend Prawn together. Determined to keep their plan to be the first zombie/cheerleader couple to go to the prom, Zed runs for school president against cheer captain, Bucky, in order to change the rules. Meanwhile, the werewolves, including fierce pack leader Willa, her earnest brother Wyatt and their well-intentioned but sometimes over-eager friend Wynter, enroll at Seabrook High and embark on a search to find the powerful moonstone that can restore their fading strength and energy. The wolves suspect that Addison may hold the secret to finding the precious stone and begin to draw her into their circle. Fearing he might lose Addison to the werewolf pack, Zed sabotages Addison’s effort to find out if she really belongs amongst them. When his deception is revealed and Addison confronts the truth about her identity, zombies, cheerleaders and werewolves all discover the real meaning of community and acceptance. Starring is Milo Manheim (ABC's "Dancing with the Stars") as Zed; Meg Donnelly (ABC's "American Housewife") as Addison; Trevor Tordjman ("The Next Step") as Addison's cousin and Seabrook cheer captain, Bucky; Kylee Russell (Disney Channel's "Jump In!") as tech-savvy zombie Eliza; Carla Jeffery ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as Addison's bubbly best friend, Bree; James Godfrey ("The Swap") as Zed's hulking zombie friend, Bonzo; Kingston Foster as Zed's little sister, Zoey; Chandler Kinney (Fox's "Lethal Weapon") as Willa; Pearce Joza (Disney's "Mech X-4") as Wyatt; and Ariel Martin as Wynter. "ZOMBIES 2" was written by David Light and Joseph Raso, who were nominated for a Humanitas Prize for their "ZOMBIES" teleplay. The movie is directed by Paul Hoen, who also directed "ZOMBIES." Anna Gerb ("All Is Lost," "Triple Frontier"), Hoen, Light and Raso are executive producers. -- Disney Channel -- 12/19 .
