Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins to Ring The Nasdaq Stock Market Opening Bell ADVISORY, Oct. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- What: Oscar De La Hoya, 1992 Olympic gold medalist and 10-time world champion boxer in six weight divisions, and Bernard Hopkins, the longest reigning middleweight champion of all time, will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square in advance of Saturday's Gennady Golovkin vs. David Lemieux Middleweight World Championship Title Unification bout live on HBO Pay-Per- View. The bout, set for October 17, is the steppingstone for the middleweight division sweepstakes which will bring the division back into the limelight after 14 years. The winner of Golovkin vs. Lemieux will be destined to fight the winner of Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez, an epic showdown scheduled for November 21 in Las Vegas, and will be declared the Unified King of the Middleweight Division, something that hasn't been done since Bernard Hopkins unified the titles more than 14 years ago.
