The Cornwall FA Coach Education Newsletter! Welcome to the Cornwall FA Coach Education Newsletter! Welcome to the second edition of Cornwall FA's Coach Education E-Newsletter, a publication bringing you all the latest news, stories, course updates and much more from around the County. There are many great events and courses across Cornwall for yourself, coaches, parents and helpers at your club to come along to. We have a great range to choose from across the County and we will continue to run new and varied events throughout 2019. Step up the coaching ladder with the FA Level 2 Course… We are delighted to be running an FA Level 2 Course in Camborne beginning in June. This nationally recognised qualification, awarded by 1st4sport Qualifications will take you on a journey through the core components of the England DNA – How We Coach, How We Play, How We Support and The February 2019 Future Player, helping you to begin shaping or refining your own coaching philosophy. The courseGoalkeeper CPD is made up of 20 guided learning, face-to-face Step into football Camelford workshops covering a range of topics linked to the England DNA, split into three blocks of learning. You will also receive up to two support visits between blocks to Futsal Level 1 develop you in your own coaching environment. First aid The course cost is £270*, to book your place or find out more information click HERE *There are a limited number of bursaries up to £100 available for this course, please contact us for more details. Cornwall FA is looking for the next cohort of promising coaches to begin their UEFA B journey This September we are hosting the second UEFA B Course in the County, the last course which had a fantastic 21 coaches offered places, 4 of which have already been supported through the process and have been awarded a pass. This season long course is designed to give coaches a supportive but challenge environment in which they can work with teams of any age. If you are interested in attending you can pre-register your interest by clicking HERE - applications are open until 28th June 2019. Please Note: All dates MUST be attended, please do not register interest if you cannot attend all dates. Please nor FEMALE GAME MENTORING The female game mentoring programme is designed for coaches working within the female game who would like to have specific support from the FA coach mentors around working with female players. Coaches can be female or male and should be enthusiastic about improving themselves.
