The Rhine-Lippe Port Wesel is being developed into an all-round port for liquid, breakbulk and heavy load cargoes and containers. In the very near future, we will commence construction of a 520 meter quay wall with non-discriminatory access, which has already been approved.

This location features surface areas ready for immediate construction in 5, 6, and 9 hectare increments. The floodwater-safe plots are either located immediately on the harbor basin or they have immediate access to the water.

Plots bordering the areas that are already available are currently under development so that another 45 hectares of expansion area will be available soon.

The Rhine-Lippe Port is located immediately on the Rhine River at kilometer marker 813 at the entrance to the Wesel-Datteln Canal and is therefore ideally linked to the ARA-Range ports (Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam) and to the entire German canal network. Another advantage is the fact that the port is accessible to pushed barge trains with up to 6-tiers.

A good number of nearby access points to the Autobahn freeway system, coupled with the port‘s ideal location at the edge of the metropolitan area, ensure a swift and congestion- free commute to your destination. There are 16 million consumers within a radius of 100 kilometers. If you are planning to travel ‘s „Great North-South Axis“ for instance, you just hop onto the Autobahn A 3, A 57, or - alternatively - you can access Autobahn A 61. Another highlight is the newly constructed Wesel Rhine bridge, which makes traversing the Rhine by car or truck very convenient.

At the Rhine-Lippe Port, the rail infrastructure of the Port of Emmelsum at a distance of only 2.5 kilometers can be utilized. This port features a link to the Deutsche Bahn (DB) rail corridor Emmerich – (The „Betuwe Line“). Type Availability Name Connection to regional Train station Wesel public transportation 
