We have some very exciting opportunities to help you grow in your relationship with Christ this fall. We hope that you will take a step of faith in some of these opportunities and join us. In the past weeks we have talked about how small groups and different ministries are important to the growth of the Body HOBBY NIGHT of Christ and to sharing Christ with those who have yet to make 1st Friday of each month a decision to follow Christ. Small groups are very effective in these two areas. One thing I want to make clear: We never ex- Friday, October 4th pect you to be involved in everything OCC offers. 5:00 PM to ?? However, we feel it's important to be a part of at least one of these things. They all differ, but they all allow you to connect Held in the OCC basement! with other believers and give you an opportunity to bring others *Bring a sharp pair of scissors and a mens in. Can you be a part of all these things? Well, yes, of course tshirt with no seams and learn how to make you can. I was talking to Wendy about small groups this Sunday a scarf!! Glennis will also have a few tshirts and she said “Jason, you really haven't made that clear.” As the if you don’t have one! church we want you to share the gospel, study the word and fel- lowship with other believers. Like Fred has mentioned, let the Holy Spirit direct you. It will happen here at church, like we have seen so often at church, or in your personal life, at work , or at home. Lets be devoted to the teachings and to each other. Take that leap of faith and try a small group this next coming week. Bring your spouse, or just yourself. Where ever God leads you keep following and never give up! Jason KGCR RADIO STATION KGCR first went on the air in March of 1988. We invite you to join us at 9:30 am Sunday ADULT 2 CLASS - new curriculum begins mornings! October 6th! What is True Spirituality? Christians today live in a world that is activity- heavy and relationship-light. The result is spiritual emptiness. We struggle to know what God wants FROM us and FOR us …. and we're unsure what a real relationship with God really looks like.

This was never God's idea! HIS idea of faith isn't about rules or religion - it's about relationship. In Romans 12, God gives us a clear picture of what Christians should look like at the root level. If you're ready to move beyond the motions of religion and experience a real relationship with God, your journey begins here. Led by Kurt Maurath, this is a DVD/discussion type class that is set up for 12 weeks but may last longer. Begins October 6th, 9:30 am Sundays.
