As she says, “I don’t know what more you could ask for”.

Both Pat and Larry expressed how great the Library was for our municipality and the many benefits of the Library. Our Library’s value and importance has become more and more significant over the last decade. As our community grows and changes both in population and interests, the Library responds by providing ser- vices and programs to meet the many varying needs of rural residents. Larry feels there is much going on in the Library and so much coming out of it in terms of the many benefits for people including a place where they learn, meet old and new friends, master a puzzle or new skill or enjoy reading a book. People of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come to the Library for many reasons including con- necting with others in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Patricia and Larry feel that a lot of their positive experiences at the Library can be attributed to the staff who run them. Both Maxine McCulloch and Theiann Scherby (the Oliver Paipoonge Library staff) are welcoming to everyone coming in through the doors. While Larry has been in other libraries, he really felt that the Oliver Paipoonge Library staff could not do enough for them and felt treated exceptionally well. According to Larry, “they spoil us. For example, you could tell them that you like a certain author and the next week they would have books for you from that author. They are like friends who you know that will do whatever they can for you.”
