College Shop College Shop Winter Uniform Fittings for Year 9 Students (and any other New Entrants) All Students are required to wear the Winter Trousers in Terms 2 and 3. These are to be worn with a black belt and black socks. We have opened the winter uniform fitting appointments. These trousers have a double pleat in the front and are a more relaxed fit. Winter Sports New Football Socks This season we are introducing the new St Bede’s Football socks, these were signed off last season by St Bede’s Sports Director. Sizes 2-5, 6-10, 11-13 Cost $20.00 For competitions, if an alternative sock is required then you will be required to use the St Bede’s Hockey sock – this is red with black St Bede’s Please note: These new socks will be available for purchase by the end of term 1 New Hockey Socks This season we are introducing the new St Bede’s Hockey socks, these were signed off last season by St Bede’s Sports Director. The College Shop sells the Rugby Shorts and Socks. Compression Gear The benefits of wearing compression garments is that it reduces muscle fatigue, muscle soreness and quickens the muscle recovery time. It also keeps the sweat away and keeps you warm. Designed to increase blood and lymphatic flow to the specified limb, compression wear is said to improve performance and shorten recovery time. These can be used for workouts in the gym, or while playing sport. Wearing compression garments helps reduce muscle soreness and fatigue during and after workouts, resulting in better, faster and longer runs without feeling quite as tired. The most beneficial aspect of compression garments is in recovery from strenuous exercise - these can be worn after games as well as at night. Water Polo We now have a good supply of all sizes of our Water Polo Togs. The Swimming caps have not arrived yet.
