DWTS Juniors 105 Juniors Choice Oct. 29, 2018 THE SEVEN REMAINING CELEBRITY KIDS ARE EACH TASKED WITH CHOOSING THE SONG THEY WILL DANCE TO AS ‘JUNIORS CHOICE’ NIGHT COMES TO ABC’S ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIORS,’ SUNDAY, NOV. 11 There Will Be an Elimination at the End of the Night, Based on Judges’ Scores and In-Studio Audience Votes “Juniors Choice” – The seven remaining celebrity kids have each been tasked with choosing the song they will dance to as “Juniors Choice” night comes to “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” SUNDAY, NOV. 11 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. While some of the songs chosen were favorites of the celebrity kids, others held some kind of special meaning to them. Each couple will perform a Charleston, jazz, cha cha or samba. At the end of the night, there will be an elimination. The studio audience vote is combined with the judges’ scores to determine who goes home at the end of each episode. Each couple will dance to the following songs (in alphabetical order): Akash Vukoti and Kamri Peterson (mentored by Witney Carson) – Charleston – “Do Your Thing” by Basement JaxX Ariana Greenblatt and Artyon Celestine (mentored by Brandon Armstrong) – Jazz – “Rolex” by Ayo & Teo Jason Maybaum and Elliana Walmsley (mentored by Emma Slater) – Jazz – “It’s Tricky” by RUN- DMC Mackenzie Ziegler and Sage Rosen (mentored by Gleb Savchenko) – Cha Cha – “What If” by Johnny Orlando & Mackenzie Zeigler Mandla Morris and Brightyn Brems (mentored by Cheryl Burke) – Cha Cha – “Perm” by Bruno Mars Miles Brown and Rylee Arnold (mentored by Lindsay Arnold) – Jazz – “Space Jam” by Quad City DJ’s Sky Brown and JT Church (mentored by Alan Bersten) – Samba – “The Greatest” by Sia Hosted by “Dancing with the Stars” season 25’s Mirrorball Trophy winner Jordan Fisher and finalist Frankie Muniz, “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” is a fresh take on an established favorite in which 12 celebrity kids are partnered with professional junior ballroom dancers to perform choreographed routines that are judged by Emmy® Award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, and “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” champion, Adam Rippon. “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” is produced by BBC Studios. I was a casual runner my whole life, but I got serious eight years ago when my mom became ill with cancer. My company was growing, my kids were littler, the days felt overwhelming. The only thing that made me forget about everything was running, so I started doing it every day. Most people think business is the fun, sexy stuff we see on TV, but success comes from the 22 things you have to do every day that nobody notices. That’s just like running. There are a lot of fans at the finish line of a marathon, but not as many between miles three and 26. My proudest running moment was my first marathon in Miami in 2009. I trained only for a few months, but I was really proud that I even finished (in 4:40). I run five miles daily, plus a long run of eight to 10 miles on Sunday. It’s hard to find the time but if I don’t, I’m more tired, I need to eat more – it affects me physically and mentally. I appeared on Dancing With the Stars this year and made it to week eight of 10 with no dance experience.
