[email protected] The following reflects the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week recipients and nominees. Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA. Accomplishments are listed for the preceding week-Monday through Saturday. Men’s Soccer DI Stevenson Storm, junior forward from Kalamazoo, MI, led Spring Arbor University to a 2-0 start to their season, scoring three goals in the first two matches. He scored both goals in SAU's 2-1 season opening win over Trinity International. His goal against Roosevelt came off a penalty kick in the 74th minute to complete the 2-1 come from behind win. Men’s Soccer DI Offensive Nominees: Stevenson Storm, Spring Arbor University; Ross McGuigan, Tennessee Temple University; Corey Lopez, Indiana Wesleyan University Women’s Soccer DI Madison Ratchford, freshman forward from Taylorsville, KY, leads Campbellsville University with two goals through two games. She scored CU's first goal of the season Friday night in a 2-0 shutout win over Montreat and followed with another goal Saturday against Truett-McConnell. Both games were played at the YMCA in Mason, NC. Friday's win was the first season- opening win for Campbellsville since 2005. Women’s Soccer DI Offensive Nominees: Madison Ratchford, Campbellsville University; Corrie Good, Spring Arbor University; Carianne Sobey, Grace College; Celly Ruiz, Point University, Nicole Biggs, Indiana Wesleyan University Amanda Howard, freshman goalkeeper from Harrodsburg, KY, made her collegiate debut at Campbellsville University with a seven-save shutout win over Montreat College in the 2014 season opener.
