Penny Lane – The Beatles

Penny Lane is a famous song by the English rock band The Beatles. The song was released in February 1967. It was written by Paul McCartney. The lyrics to the song are about a real street in Liverpool, England. Paul McCartney was sitting at a bus stop on Penny Lane waiting for John Lennon, another member of The Beatles, to meet him. While he was sitting there, he wrote things down that he saw. He later used these things to write the song Penny Lane.
