Success and Leadership at Muthoot Group, It Is Our Aim to See, Be and Express the Real Self That We Are – Complete, Fulfilled and Abundant VOL XVII / ISSUE #2 / JUNE 12 for private circulation only From the Chairman’s Desk Success and Leadership At Muthoot Group, it is our aim to see, be and express the real self that we are – complete, fulfilled and abundant. Well, this makes us strive even harder towards the steeper targets that we set for ourselves. We question our own growth and not that of others. As the nation’s largest Gold Loan Company, Muthoot Finance has registered an impressive growth in all business metrics in the financial year 2011-12. The total income went up by 96% and the net profit registered a growth of 80%. Assets valued at ` 24673 crore reported a robust growth of 55%. In line with the good performance, the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended, a maiden dividend of 40% for the fiscal ended March 2012 subject to the shareholders approval. As our branch network expanded to 3678 and the team growing by 52% in size, we have added 13 lakh new gold loan accounts in the year. With restrictions being imposed by The Reserve Bank of India in March 2012 on the maximum loan that can be given against the value of the jewels pledged, we have substantially redefined the operating environment of the Company. Concrete steps are being taken to sustain growth and profitability in the changing business environment and in strict compliance with the RBI directives. Moving beyond the objective of profit, we have redefined the social purpose of the Company. Having done this, we have attempted at bringing about a convergence of values, perspectives and the interests of social aspects of the business environment. As part of the ensuing corporate social responsibility drive, Muthoot Finance has recently been conferred the Golden Peacock International Award in the financial services sector. We have taken a conscious decision to commit ourselves to social upliftment as a part of our policy. God Almighty was kind to us in showering His blessings 30, 60 and 100 fold on us. So we are thankful to God, our staff members and our valued customers. I strongly believe that courage is a state of mind and we at The Muthoot Group would like to move ahead with mettle to win, always. For this I desire each one to come up as a lion-hearted individual, willing to go the extra mile. Chairman M.G. His policy was dividing and rule, using the internal social divisions existed in Travancore to his own advantage. Muthoot Finance Ltd. recorded an increase in net profit of 21% at Rs. 187 crore for the quarter ended December 2015 as against Rs. 154 crore in the last financial year. Retail loans have registered an increase of Rs. 117 crore during the quarter three of FY’15-16 and an increase of Rs. 1582 crore (7%) during the last 9 months, I.e, 1st April, 2015- 31st Dec, 2015. In its first complete financial year as a subsidiary of Muthoot Finance, Asia Asset Finance Plc, Sri Lanka has definitely propelled it’s way ahead in its business. The financial results for the nine months period underscore the success of the strategies adopted.The interest income of the company has increased by 42% at LKR 983 million, which has contributed to the overall improvement of its profitability by 54% reaching LKR 121 million. The Company’s asset base grew by 36% reaching the LKR 7 billion milestone. The introduction of Gold Loans and the expansion of Micro Finance portfolio have contributed to this year’s growth.

In fact the catalyst which triggered the formation the formation of non-Brahmin political organisation was the emergence of the Home Rule League of Annie Besant on 25th September 1915.1 The associates of Annie Besant were all Brahmins and her views were derived from the Brahmin influenced works of Puranas, Manu Code, the epics, hindu heros and Festivals of Hinduism.2 These views were strongly ridiculed and their credibility was questioned by the well versed non-Brahmins. Thus the development of the Home Rule Movement and its counterpart Dravidian ideology created a new dimension in the politics of the state of Madras and was pushed into the Fore-Front of hat political wave. As a matter of fact, the arrival of Annie Besant put an end to the factional fight and internal feud in Tamil Nadu Congress. And her definite campaign for Home Rule demand confronted the British with the most serious and largest movement among the dissidence of Tamil Nadu. It provides a detailed yet intelligible discussion of what AI is and how it works, a history of its development, and a description of the wide variety of functions that it is designed to accomplish, stressing that AI applications are ubiquitous, both in the private and public sector. Applications today include: health care, education, employment-related decision-making, finance, law enforcement, and the legal profession. The article underscores the importance of determining the validity of an AI application (i.e., how accurately the AI measures, classifies, or predicts what it is designed to), as well as its reliability (i.e., the consistency with which the AI produces accurate results when applied to the same or substantially similar circumstances), in deciding whether it should be admitted into evidence in civil and criminal cases. The article further discusses factors that can affect the validity and reliability of AI evidence, including bias of various types, “function creep,” lack of transparency and explainability, and the sufficiency of the objective testing of the AI application before it is released for public use. The article next provides an in-depth discussion of the evidentiary principles that govern whether AI evidence should be admitted in court cases, a topic which, at present, is not the subject of comprehensive analysis in decisional law.
