Better Call Saul season 5 has long since aired on AMC with season 6 once again delayed further now into 2022 but when will we see season 5 added to Netflix? Many regions already have the complete fifth season streaming but here’s when we’re expecting the remaining regions to host season 5 of Better Call Saul. It’s been a great few years to be a Breaking Bad fan, headlined with Better Call Saul telling us the origin story of the wise-talking Saul Goodman. In addition, in late 2019 we were treated to El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie that concluded Jessie Pinkman’s story. Season 5 of Better Call Saul premiered on AMC all the way back in February 23rd, 2020 and once again consisted of 10 episodes. It wrapped on April 20th, 2020. Season 6 of Better Call Saul is confirmed but has faced significant delays (the longest in the show’s history). Its exact release date has yet to be confirmed but is now expected to have been delayed right into early 2022. The sixth season is set to be the show’s final with a total of 13 episodes wrapping up Jimmy McGill’s full transition into Saul Goodman. Let’s now take a look at when season 5 will be on Netflix. When will Better Call Saul season 5 be on Netflix in the US and Canada? Those in Canada, the United States, South Africa, and Spain will have the longest to wait for Better Call Saul season 5. As the show airs first in the US, it takes a while for the license to become available to Netflix in these regions and they don’t get the weekly treatment that others do. In the past years, we’ve always seen new seasons added shortly before the next is set to air. Season 4, for example, was added to Netflix on February 9th, 2020 just weeks before S5 was due to air. However, season 3 was added to Netflix in March 2018 before the August air date. With the April 2021 release schedule out, it looks like we’ll have to wait all the way until 2022 before Netflix US and the other countries we mentioned stream season 5. That means it won’t be until at least January 2022 unless Netflix manages to scoop the rights up earlier. That’s going to be nearly a two-year wait for Netflixers! Better Call Saul Season 5 Netflix International Release Schedule. As per previous seasons such as season 3 and 4 of Better Call Saul , new episodes dropped weekly on Netflix after the episodes aired on AMC in the United States. This weekly release schedule applies to Netflix in regions such as the United Kingdom, mainland Europe including Poland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Switzerland, and Turkey. It also applies to the release schedule for Latin America and Asian regions. Weekly episodes of Better Call Saul S5 does not apply to South Africa, Canada, Iceland or Spain. New episodes began dropping on Netflix from February 24th onwards. The series has been lauded for remaining tethered to the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe while not being overly influenced by the original series, and some viewers even went ahead to admit that the spinoff even surpassed the mastery of the original series. The slow-burning show reaches its boiling point at the end of the fifth season, and fans are waiting to see Kim’s fate, as they probably already know what happens to Jimmy. Better Call Saul Season 6 Release Date. ‘Better Call Saul’ season 5 premiered on February 23, 2020, on AMC, and concluded its run on April 20, 2020. The fifth season of the show consists of ten episodes, and each episode runs for 50 minutes on average. As far as the release date of ‘Better Call Saul’ season 6 is concerned, here’s what we know. The show was renewed for a sixth and final season on January 16, 2020. Filming for season 6 was all set to begin around February or March 2020, but the production process got hampered owing to the Covid-19 mayhem. In an ideal world, the season would begin airing by summer 2021, but keeping in mind the inconvenience caused by the pandemic situation which made a lot of productions go into indefinite hibernation, ‘Better Call Saul’ season 6 is most likely to release sometime in early 2022. Better Call Saul Season 6 Cast: Who is in it? Well, we are certain that Bob Odenkirk will reprise his titular role as the shady park plaza lawyer and con-artist Jimmy McGill AKA Saul Goodman in the series. In another central role, Rhea Seehorn takes up the character of righteous lawyer Kim Wexler, Jimmy’s confidante and later his partner in crime. Another series regular, Jonathan Banks is expected to play the role of the corrupt retired police officer Mike Ehrmantraut. In other prominent roles, we may expect to see Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin) and Michael Mando (Nacho Varga). Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring, who has been an integral part of the universe, is also expected to return for the final run, along with Tony Dalton’s Lalo Salamanca, who also holds a crucial position in the cast. We can also expect to see some new actors portray freshly introduced characters in the final season. Better Call Saul Season 6 Plot: What can it be About? The fifth season of ‘Better Call Saul’ builds on the characters of Jimmy and Kim, and the story gets escalated sooner than one might imagine. The narrative becomes increasingly complex and tricky as Jimmy’s Saul Goodman enters a vortex of the drug trade in the criminal underworld of Albuquerque. When Jimmy gets caught up in a bitter feud between the networked Salamanca family and enterprising drug dealer Gus Fring, the story takes another wild turn. The season finale sees the pair of Jimmy and Kim hiding in a downtown hotel in an attempt to evade Lalo Salamanca. Mike arranges for Lalo’s assassination, but Lalo emerges unscathed. In a later development, we see the ethical transformation of Kim as she begins thinking like Jim, but she is still committed to her pro bono work. In the final moments, Jimmy and Kim are left conversing on the bed as a cloud of uncertainty hovers over their head. The upcoming final season of the show may see Lalo coming for his revenge, and Jimmy may have to pay the price. While we know Jimmy’s face as he enters the life of Walter White, we do not know what happens to Kim, and in a grey world marred by blood, we are not too hopeful about Kim’s destiny.
