The stadium honors the late Milton W. “Scotty” Wood for his many years of support and service to the College and its scholar athletes. The field honors Frank Marino, one of the most beloved coaches in school history. He led the foot- ball team to a 54-40-6 record from 1970 to 1980 and was 1976 Middle At- lantic Conference coach of the year. Marino served the athletic department in numerous other capacities – including head men’s la- crosse coach from 1968 to 1978 – during his 34-year association with the Col- lege, earning the respect, loyalty and admiration of hundreds of young men and women.
