The Roadmap set forth short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals to achieve by 2018 in five research areas. At a Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Community Forum in June 2008, VKC researchers summarized the Plan and committed ourselves to contributing to achieving these national research goals.
