A15 to Lincoln Carriageway Reconstruction Works

Eurovia has been appointed by County Council to rebuild the A15/ junction and a five-mile stretch of A15 between and . These works will start on Tuesday 6 April and will be carried out for up to sixteen weeks.

The works will be carried out overnight, when there are fewer vehicles on the road, and in phases, with the worst sections of road repaired first.

• Phase 1 – rolling works between Navenby and Brauncewell, broken down into smaller sections (please see attached plans for locations)

o Tuesday 6 April until July

o Night-time road closures from 7pm to 6am, Mon-Fri

o Diversion route via A607 and the B1178

o Lane closures, barriers and other traffic management to be used as needed

• Phase 2 – rebuilding the A15/B1429 Cranwell junction

o Work on this section is expected to start in July for approximately two weeks (details are still being finalised so we will share more information closer to the time).

Because the incredibly wet and cold weather we've experienced this winter has caused multiple potholes to form very quickly on this section of the A15, the county council has brought this scheme forward by a year so long-term repairs are made sooner rather than later on this important stretch of road.

This scheme will be a massive undertaking involving the excavation of over five miles of the A15 and replacing it with 22,000 tonnes of new tarmac and road material.

Our experienced onsite teams are aware of the impact this road improvement scheme may have on the travelling public, so we will be maintaining access for residents and business wherever possible and working to complete the scheme as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, there will be some disruption, so we also ask you to plan accordingly and leave extra time for your journeys.

As the dedicated Public Liaison Officer assigned to the scheme, working on behalf of Eurovia Contracting and our client, Lincolnshire County Council, it is my priority to ensure that you are kept well-informed throughout the scheme. To achieve this, I will be creating a monthly ‘Construction Update Report’ overviewing progress made and ongoing and upcoming works.

If you'd like to receive this update, please forward me your contact details or please do give me a call. Adhering to Data Protection guidelines (GDPR), your information will only be available to me and will not be shared with any third party. Once the scheme is completed, your information will be deleted.

A monthly scheme update about this project and our improvements to Roundabout will also be published by Lincolnshire County Council at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/majorprojects.

Please feel free to contact me, should you have any queries regarding the scheme. I will be happy to help with any concerns you may have where possible. I will be based on-site and can be contacted by email at [email protected] or via the telephone number below.

We thank you in advance for your patience regarding the upcoming works. Your co- operation and understanding during these works will be appreciated.

Yours faithfully
