 Some construction projects have been suspended due to the pandemic and others are on different

Projects highlighted in RED have notable changes this week. Construction is tentative and subject to change at any time.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS POST STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT  The Post Street Bridge is closed.

 The intersection of Lincoln Street and Summit Boulevard is closed and half of the adjacent parking lot.

 Parking is limited on Post Street, and the Riverfront Park parking lot on Post just south of the bridge is closed.

 The bridge will open in 2022. See the detour routes for pedestrians and bicyclists.

This project will replace the Post Street Bridge and associated utilities.

This is an $18.5 million project.

NON-CITY OBSTRUCTIONS  The following streets will have lane closures from 1/28/21 to 2/19/21 for Quanta work. o Lincoln Street between Third and Second Avenue o Third Avenue between Monroe and Lincoln Street o Second Avenue between Wall and Stevens Street o Stevens Street between First and Second Avenue  Both curbside lanes of Five Mile Road between Elgin and Ash Street will be closed and traffic flagged from 2/8/21 to 2/19/21 for Avista work.  The southbound curb lane of Indian Trail Road between Strong and Kathleen Avenue will be closed from 1/25/21 to 2/24/21 for Quanta work.  Wall Street between Main and Riverside Avenue will be closed on 2/25/2021 for TW Clark work.  The west curbside lane of Division Street between Mansfield and Shannon Avenue will be closed from 1/25/21 to 2/25/21 for Avista work.  The intersection of Holland Avenue and Division Street will be flagged all directions, as well as intersection of US 2 and Division Street, as well as the median will be closed of US 2 between Division Street and Birch Avenue, from 1/27/21 to 2/26/21 for Quanta work.  The eastbound curb lane of Euclid Avenue between Nelson and Haven Street will be closed from 1/13/21 to 2/28/21 for Sefnco work.  The intersection of 29th Avenue and Myrtle Street will be flagged all directions from 2/1/21 to 3/1/21 for Avista work.  The westbound curb lane of 29th Avenue between Rebecca and Myrtle Street will be closed, and traffic flagged from 2/1/21 to 3/1/21 for Avista work.  The intersection of Hatch Road and 54th Avenue will be flagged in all directions from 2/15/21 to 3/15/21 for Avista work.  The intersection of Crestline Street and 48th Avenue will be flagged in all directions from 2/15/21 to 3/15/21 for Avista work.  The south curb lane of Spokane Falls Boulevard between Bernard and Washington Street will be closed from 2/15/21 to 3/15/21 for Avista work.  The northbound curb lane of Howard Street between Boone and Mallon Avenue will be shifted into the median from 2/22/21 to 3/22/21 for Avista work.  The two east lanes of Lincoln Street between Second and Main Avenue will be closed from 10/5/20 to 04/05/21 for Avista work.

SPOKANE PARKS AND RECREATION RIVERFRONT PARK CONSTRUCTION  North Bank: Work on the North Bank playground, wheels park, parking lot, and basketball court continues, with plans for completion in summer 2021.  West Havermale: The Providence Playscape, an inclusive playground funded by Providence Health Care is now open! A restored Theme Stream from Expo ’74 is also complete. Additional work continues in the area, including a maintenance yard, final pathway improvements, and installation of the StepWell art piece, slated for mid-2021.  More: The website for redevelopment is www.riverfrontparknow.com.

SPOKANE PUBLIC LIBRARY DOWNTOWN LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION  Lincoln Street is closed between Spokane Falls Boulevard and Main Avenue until March 2022.  The sidewalks adjacent to the downtown library on Main Avenue, Monroe Street, and Spokane Falls Boulevard are closed until March 2021.

SPOKANE TRANSIT AUTHORITY CITY LINE CONSTRUCTION The following streets will close to accommodate utility work for STA’s City Line. These closures will start Monday, Feb. 22 and end in mid-April.  Maple Street between First and Pacific Avenue  Pacific Avenue between Oak and Maple Street STREET DEPARTMENT PROJECTS ALLEY CREW  Alley crew is working on unimproved streets, when weather permits.

POTHOLE CREWS  City crews continue to fill potholes. If you see a pothole, report it by calling 3-1-1. Potholes can also be reported online through your MySpokane account. Crews focus on the largest holes on the busiest streets first. Include as much information as possible on the location and size of the pothole.

STREET SWEEPING  All sweeping crews are working on arterial routes.

ADDITIONAL WORK  Bridge crews will be working on various bridges to clear drains, as well as other projects.

WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (WSDOT) NORTH SPOKANE CORRIDOR-US 395/NSC BNSF 2ND RAILROAD REALIGNMENT  Wellesley Avenue is closed between Market and Freya Street.

 The following streets are permanently closed: o Bridgeport, Cleveland and Fairview Avenue between Ralph and Market Street o Grace, Marietta, and Jackson Avenue between Ralph and Greene Street

 Drivers have east/west access on Francis, Upriver, Carlisle, and Euclid Avenue.
