The County Council (A132 Runwell Road, Runwell) (Restricted Road and 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 201* The Essex County Council (A132 Runwell Road and Runwell Chase, Runwell) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 3(2), 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2), and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the orders: 1. To revoke the existing 40MPH speed limit on the following length of the old section of the A132 Runwell Road, Runwell in the City of , the road is to revert to 30MPH by virtue of street lighting: Road Description A132 Runwell Road, From a point approximately 25 metres east of Runwell Chase, Runwell east for a distance of approximately 345 metres to the junction with the newly constructed part of A132 Runwell Road.

2. To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on the newly constructed length of A132 Runwell Road (inclusive of St Luke’s Roundabout) and Access road to Runwell Hospital Development, Runwell in the : Road Description A132 Runwell i. From its junction with Runwell Chase, north east for a distance Road and St of approximately 199 metres to the centre of the newly Luke’s constructed roundabout known as St Lukes Roundabout. Roundabout, ii. From the centre of the new constructed roundabout known as St Runwell Lukes Roundabout, east for a distance of approximately 351 metres to the existing national speed limit. iii. St Luke’s Roundabout included in its entirety. Access road to From the centre of the newly constructed roundabout known as St Runwell Hospital Lukes Roundabout, north for a distance of approximately 440 Development metres.

The Borough of Chelmsford (Runwell Road A132) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 1981’ is hereby revoked.

3. To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on the following lengths of Runwell Chase and A132 Runwell Road, Runwell in the City of Chelmsford: Road Description A132 Runwell i. From its junction with newly constructed A132 Runwell Road in Road, Runwell an easterly direction for approximately 43 metres. ii. From its junction with newly constructed A132 Runwell Road in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 50 metres. Runwell Chase, From its junction with the A132 Runwell Road, north for a distance of Runwell approximately 10 metres.
