Dogwood Alliance INTRODUCTION SUMITOMO CORPORATION’S DIRTY ENERGY TRADE—AND ITS OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE While the rest of the developed world accelerates its deployment of clean, renewable energy, Japan is running backwards. Government policy is not the only driver of Japan’s dirty energy expansion – the private sector also plays a pivotal role in growing the country’s energy carbon footprint. -
