Central Hospital, Lallaguda is one of the Railways Multi Specialty Hospital located in , a bustling town for IT growth. The Hospital was started functioning from 1919. The Hospital has been envisioned with the aim of the highest standards of medicine along with educational and training. Central Hospital is governed under the guiding principles of providing medical services to all classes of Railway Employees.

Spread across 5 acres, the Hospital has various Medical departments. It has 300 beds capacity and over 25 Critical Care beds with 5 Operation theatres. The work of expansion 80 beds under final stage. Shortly the next addition of Cath lab will be next feather in its cap.

Hospital is a union of the best Medical minds and the latest technology. State of the art equipments backed by an excellent infrastructure to deliver superior medical care and treatment to its patient. At Central Hospital, the team of Medical, Paramedical, Nursing and administration staff are working in close Co-operation to take care of the patient in a compassionate manner.

The entire building is surrounded by lush green patch to provide serene ambience which will also add to the energy conservation measures, EPI index of the building is 35.43 i.e. equivalent to 5 Star rating as per BEE norms

7. Replaced 6 Nos. of M.H Fittings 250w with Induction fittings 80W leading to saving of 5,124 Units amounting Rs.40,600/- per annum.

8. Provided 1 No. of 7.5 HP Submersible pump with Energy efficient 4 HP submersible pump leading to saving of 7,624 Units amounting Rs.60,500/- per annum

Energy Conservation Policy

1. Daily monitoring the Energy consumption through specially designed “Eagle Eye” software.

2. Creating awareness among the users through various activities such as brochures / seminars.

3. To minimize the specific energy consumption w.r.t previous years.

4. Conducting of regular inter departmental energy audits aimed to minimize the energy losses.

5. Implemented the action plan of energy conservation items to reduce the Energy Consumption at least by 10% every year w.r.t. previous years targets.

6. Promote use of the renewable sources of energy.
