TYA--Behind the Scenes! 2019/2020 South Bend Civic Theatre Performance Order Form South Bend Civic Theatre is proud to present a series of productions that will encourage curiosity in every member of our community. Our Theatre for Young Audience (TYA) productions allow us to produce DYNAMIC theatre at a fraction of the cost for our area families. Jump in, see what all the excitement is about, and allow your students to absorb the powerful messages that each of these productions convey. Students will have the opportunity to see the show followed by a guided tour of the backstage along with see up close the production elements that make the “magic of theatre” come alive!

Main St. Mishawaka, IN 46545 LENGTH: 1 hour Disney’s The Lion King JR. tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the 1994 film such as “Hakuna Matata” and the Academy Award®-winning “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” as well as additional songs penned for the Broadway production.
