Il ritorno di Picard Sir Patrick Stewart tra gli ospiti principali Lucca Comics & Games 2019 Lucca, 21 Ottobre 2019 -- Sir Patrick Stewart, insieme ad altri attori del cast delle nuova serie Amazon Original, Star Trek: Picard, sarà tra gli ospiti principali della 53°edizione di Lucca Comics & Games. Venerdì 1 Novembre il celebre attore britannico, accompagnato da alcuni colleghi dal cast, tra cui Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd e Evan Evagora, salirà sul palco per annunciare il ritorno di Picard ai fan di Star Trek di tutto il mondo, svelando in anteprima alcuni dettagli sulla nuova serie. Star Trek: Picard debutterà su Amazon Prime Video il 24 gennaio 2020. Inoltre, per rendere omaggio a una tra le più amate e talentuose star del teatro, del cinema e della televisione, Lucca Comics & Games assegnerà a Stewart un posto d’onore nella Walk of Fame del festival, dove hanno lasciato le proprie impronte alcuni tra i più celebri artisti del mondo del cinema, dei fumetti e dei videogiochi. Gli altri attori del cast si uniranno a Sir Patrick Stewart nell’evento dell’area Movie di Lucca Comics & Games, a cura di QMI-Stardust. In Star Trek: Picard Sir Patrick Stewart indosserà nuovamente l’uniforme del leggendario Jean-Luc Picard, iconico ruolo che ha interpretato nelle sette stagioni di Star Trek: The Next Generation. La nuova serie seguirà le vicende del celebre capitano in un nuovo capitolo della sua vita. CBS All Access Deploys First Animated Star Trek Series 08.19.2020 CBS All Access goes where no other Star Trek series has gone before with Star Trek: Lower Decks, the franchise's first animated series. The series focuses not on the lofty commanders of one of Starfleet's least important ships, the U.S.S Cerritos, but on the support crew who live and work on the lower decks. That includes Ensign Beckett Mariner, voiced by Tawny Newsome; Ensign Brad Boimler, voiced by Jack Quaid; Ensign Tendi, voiced by NoÃ«l Wells; and Ensign Rutherford, voiced by Eugene Cordero. The Starfleet characters that comprise the ship's bridge crew include Captain Carol Freeman, voiced by Dawnn Lewis; Commander Jack Ransom, voiced by Jerry O'Connell; Lieutenant Shaxs, voiced by Fred Tatasciore and Doctor T'Ana, voiced by Gillian Vigman. The series is produced by CBS' Eye Animation Productions, CBS Television Studios' new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Secret Hideout's Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin; Roddenberry Entertainment's Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth; and 219 Productions' Katie Krentz serve as executive producers alongside creator and showrunner Mike McMahan.
