‘THE WISHING WELL’ PRODUCTION BIOS LARRY LEVINSON (Executive Producer) – Larry Levinson has extensive credits as an executive producer, including the telefilm "Johnson County War" and blockbuster miniseries "Larry McMurtry's Streets of Laredo" and "Larry McMurtry's Dead Man's Walk." His Hallmark Channel productions include "The Last Cowboy," “Straight From the Heart,” “Love Comes Softly,” “Audrey’s Rain,” "The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay,” “Hard Ground,” “A Time to Remember,” “Just Desserts,” “A Place Called Home,” “The Long Shot (Believe in Courage),” “Life on Liberty Street,” “King Solomon’s Mines,” “La Femme Musketeer,” “The Trail to Hope Rose,” “The Reading Room,” “Our House,” “Where There’s A Will,” “Love’s Enduring Promise,” “Out of the Woods,” “Thicker Than Water,” and the Hallmark Channel Mystery Movie franchises “Jane Doe,” “Mystery Woman,” “McBride” and “Murder 101.” Levinson also executive produced "Mark Twain's Roughing It," "Everything That Rises" with Dennis Quaid, "Rough Riders" with Tom Berenger, and a series of "Hard Time" telefilms starring Burt Reynolds as detective Logan McQueen. Previously, Levinson was supervising producer for the Kenny Rogers' telefilms "MacShayne: The Final Roll of the Dice" and "MacShayne: Winner Takes All." He was also an executive producer on Hallmark Channel’s highest-rated original movie ever, “The Christmas Card” and 2007’s “A Grandpa for Christmas,” which earned Ernest Borgnine a Golden Globe nomination, the first ever for a Hallmark Channel Original Movie. # # # DAVID JACKSON (Director) – Emmy® Award winning Director David Jackson made his directorial and writing debut on “Miami Vice.” Since then he has directed more than 100 television episodes, TV movies, specials and pilots such as Alistair MacLean’s “Night Watch,” for USA Network; the CBS specials “The Best of Taxi” and “All in the Family 20th Anniversary” and the ABC special “L.A. Above and Below,” which he also produced and which won three Emmys. Jackson was also nominated for a Directors Guild of America award for the Disney Channel movie “Buffalo Dreams.” Among his other credits are “Return to Halloweentown,” “Locusts,” “Street Warrior,” “Atomic Train,” “The Spring,” “The Jesse Ventura Story,” “The Wrong Girl,” “The Lake,” “Home Invasion,” “Voice from the Grave,” “CSI:NY,” “Supernatural,” “Smallville,” “Dark Angel,” “Witchblade,” “Nash Bridges,” “Crime Story,” “The Equalizer” and “21 Jump Street.” Jackson’s writing credits include “The Spring,” “Zig-Zag,” “Beat the Devil,” “Gunrunners,” “The Ghost of Fire Island,” “The Equalizer” and “Crime Story.” (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL/ ‘THE WISHING WELL’ – Production Bios – Page 2 Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Jackson’s interest in film was piqued by age 20, when he worked at a local television station where he shot, reported and edited the news, in addition to directing commercials for the station. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of General Studies in 1974, he attended Rhode Island School of Design to study film production, followed by a Master’s Program in film production at the University of Southern California in 1997. He subsequently earned a living shooting industrials films, infomercials and documentaries, landing his first break from “Miami Vice” Producer Michael Mann, who gave him his first directorial assignment. He subsequently wrote and directed additional “Miami Vice” episodes and his career was launched. # # # STEVEN H. BERMAN (Writer) – Steven H. Berman has written a number of television movies including “Hard Time: The Premonition,” “Hard Time: Hostage Hotel,” “Once Upon a Christmas,” “Twice Upon a Christmas” and “Mark Twain’s Roughing It,” which he also executive produced.
